2. They know. It was a military missile, launched in error.

If you watch the video, the missile was aborted, at the very end of the video. Someone made a mistake in an exercise and an actual launch was made, rather than a simulated launch. It happens. Somewhere there's a fire control officer on some Navy ship who's worried about his career. The captain of that warship is even more worried. The Pentagon knows what happened, but it's really, really embarrassing, so they're kicking around ideas with their information officers, trying to come up with some explanation that won't cause a real problem for them.

CYA...all around. What actually happened will probably not be revealed, but an announcement will come today or tomorrow sort of explaining it. That's how it works. The military says nothing until it has no other choice. Then it says whatever it thinks will fly.

We don't know if it was launched, let alone what it was or where it went.



Coulda been a toaster. Not likely, but we don't know.



This Thing Spirals, too -- like the Norwegian UFO.

Given the mass represented by that "column of smoke" represents a very large amount of possible propellant, I certainly would like to know, though.



And isn't the "right to know" my duty, let alone my privilege, as a citizen of the United States?
