Oprah is having quite the love fest with Shrub. Plus, it was Saddam's fault about WMD
The first part was one yuk after another. He's so CUTE!!!!!!!!!1 Oprah's audience is applauding. Later she's getting a tour of the B.F.E.E. manor(s), conducted by Poppy and Horse Face Babs (apologies to horses everywhere).

As for the Saddam's fault, Shrub claims that EVERYBODY thought he had WMD and that the intelligence agencies were wrong but not to blame because even those who "became" war critics thought he had them, that Saddam wanted everybody to think he had them for his clout's sake.

Lots of yak about how much he reads History. Wow, this from the dude who said he didn't care what History would say about him because he'd "be dead by then."

For the record, let's do a remedial review for Shrub: He talked about attacking Iraq AT LEAST TWO YEARS before. He WANTED to do it as a B.F.E.E. family cartel war of vengeance for his Poppy's being a wimp AND at the same time to climb out from Poppy's shadow. He always had the goal of attacking Iraq and 9-11 gave the opportunity (if not the factual reasons) to do it.

1. Well, there goes my respect for that woman. Shame on her.
And her audience. Bush the Dumber is a mass murderer and war criminal, and he deserves the same fate as Pol Pot and the SS.

4. When you reach the stratosphere of money and influence
of folks like OW, Shrub, etc, they fawn over each other like they would at a Hamptons cocktail party.

15. she is whatever it pays her most to be.

In the mid-90s, it paid her to be spiritual, so she hosted Deepak Chopra and all that spirituality 'stuff.' In a program on her forgiveness, I watched her yell over a guest while visciously ripping into the re-habbing alcoholic woman who had killed the guest's sibling while driving drunk. The guest held the sobbing woman in her arms and physically put herself between Oprah to deflect the verbal blows. It was a stunning moment offering a view of Oprah's true colors. It was clear to me in that moment that her spirituality was skin deep at best and the color of money. I have intensely disliked her ever since and will not watch her shows ever. She is loud, abrasive, domineering, egocentric beyond belief. What a piece of work.

Then it became in to become materialistic, so the spirituality programming ended and the endless expensive stuff shows began. Whichever way the wind (and money) blows, ya know?

6. Oh. He killed his sister's goldfish by pouring vodka in the bowl. Hilarious!1
They haven't mentioned his lighting firecrackers up frog's rectums. Funny, they're not doing a psychopath show.

To the other comments about Oprah, above, well Shrub wouldn't do the show if she were going to ask hard questions or be critical.

9. The key thing to me was always that he pulled out the inspectors.
That and how the definition of WMD kept degrading from noo-kyo-lur bombs down to pointed sticks.

10. You are correct, sir.
But, since we are "looking forward" and not prosecuting anyone for it, why not just look the other way all of the other people in charge are doing?

This country is FUCKED UP!!!!!

14. I always thought she helped him get "elected" in 2000. She did a special show
of him and Laura - the real phony "up close and personal" type of propaganda.

Walking hand in hand on the "ranch", feeding the twins when they were babies, him bringing her coffee every morning in bed (what a guy!!) - that kind of thing. Real schmaltzy crap but "O" and the audience ate it up.

I thought - this is going to have a big impact on a lot of women - the softer side of the old George. ICK!

18. Thanks for the reminder...
The little turf from Crawford was the down-home host in full humble condescension mode. Oprah wore designer jeans to help clear brush. Money makes strange bedfellows.

They both seem to think that they are following this higher calling of reaching out to and getting along with just everybody. She is also friends with Condi.

Instead of Rule Of Law, holding Criminals Accountable for their Crimes, we fellate them and praise them for their atrocities.

We "Move Forward".

We "Look Ahead".

"For The Good Of The Country."

How has that worked out for you America?

How did it work out for other Empires in history that chose similar paths?

Is your precious Junk Culture, Sports Mythos, Fabricated Reality Poison that important and relevant to you?

Was It All Worth It?

Will future generations think so?

SHAME
