until a system of the portion of air waves, cable, etc can be secured for the transmission of the free flow of information without the filtering and conservative Corporate influence.
I feel this is necessary to preserve our Democracy, elections. education and fact finding and should be done as soon as possible.
When the President or other elected officials of our Government and the citizens no longer can be heard effectively due to the overwhelming manipulation of media, channels of communication, outlets and balance of time, our Constitution, our Democracy, our Country is at stake.

11. You think I am kidding? Nope. Who would issue it? I believe that

the President would have to issue it and then it would have to involve the FCC and some other departments of Government.
It is easily proven that it may be as high as 75-85% if not higher, conservative ownership with ties to special interests.
It is the way we communicate. It is the way we organize. Without it we are nothing. We are near nothing now as the disinformation even within DU is huge and causes fights, anger, turns people against people without even knowing the facts because we no longer can know the facts.
As far as who would own it, would it not be prudent to provide that space to entities that are the ones being shut out?
There is no rational argument to say "oh well. All ability to communicate is now run by conservatives" and then hope there is any chance of ever having that ability to provide clarity in communication and "fact checking" again.
