Rachel will deal with the missile story
either they will put it to bed or have the good cya...

As I said, living in SoCal this happens more or less often... even if rarely they make the news.

1. It's a friggin' contrail. I thought there was video of it being formed.
If I had known it was after the fact, I would have called it a contrail when this happened.

Sheesh!

2. Seen lots of contrails in SoCal...
Being former military, I know what they are, what causes, and I'm not surprised that the military is claiming ignorance.

3. It is way too convenient
I am willing to bet skunk works using the Catalina Range.

:hi:

But many folks will go for that explanation.

Hell they feigned ignorance what is it now ten years ago? I mean that one had car alarms honking and windows broke... but nobody knew what it was.

4. We do not have the need to know or the clearance.
To even admit it happened is a breach of security.

6. Yeah, not much of a defense system if they can't ID this. IMO they know
full well what it is/was... and are banking on the American public / MSM drifting off to the next fixation.

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/blog-post/2010/11/who_launched_the_mystery_missi.html

It is truly a story non-story, living here in the land of fruits and nuts.

Will be gone by tomorrow... hey at least did not shatter windows downtown... the last time any of these stories made it to the NATIONAL stage.

8. Are you kidding?
An unexplained ACBM-sized missile roaring overhead is a common thing in southern CA?

I wish that my life were that exciting.
