I TIVOed it to watch later, and later came last evening.

After 40 fucking years, I could only watch 20 minutes or so.

3. After I got back, I felt the same.
The first Vietnam-related thing I saw was Carol Burnett's "Friendly Fire" in the late 80s.

I started reading stuff about Vietnam after that.

"The Tunnels Of Chu Chi" was a pretty interesting book. It's amazing to think that the VC/NVA actually had tunnels under the base I was stationed at.

4. I know I should come to grips with my time in Vietnam
but as of now I still can't talk about it much. I've expressed more about my experience here on DU than I have in person.
I went for an interview for PTSD last week and the memories that dredged up I don't care to repeat.

All I know for a fact is I came home a very different person than I was prior
