vanished last Tuesday..Would that be a safe assumption?

But it was a pretty faint hope even with a Democratic majority in both houses of congress.

Along with many other hopes, like having SS and being able to get healthcare and nutrition for your children if you're poor or unemployed.

Unless he moves in with my elderly father-in-law in a senior community an hour away from where his kids live.

there are those who have been enemployed so long that they wouldn't even have qualified to receive these extended benefits. Some of these folks didn't get any extended unemployment benefits.
Funny thing. Nobody cries for them.

No one cares about the unemployed. No one seems to know what do do about arguably the biggest societal problem in years.
And if they do know, no one will do anything about it. There's no political will, or will on the part of private business.
