A freakin Xtian nutjob is our governor elect and a racist who hates Mexicans is our new SOS.

13. Not so good ... but isn't that what Kansas has wanted for so long ....????
Did we discuss some of this not so long ago re "What's the Matter with Kansas?"

Amazing how Repugs can completely turn around a state -- especially one with Kansas'

socialist history ... is that correct?

Yet Democrats at every outing are disappeared and made ineffectual .... !!

How does that happen?

Are you voting on computers there?

19. Yes we did have that conversation not long ago
Kansas was quite progressive back in the 19th century. Nation's most widely circulated progressive newspaper was published here.

And the farmers grew wheat and just got richer.

Then this man named Tiller started doing abortions in Wichita and they all went nuts.

We vote on computers in my county but I'm not sure about statewide.

34. So "pro-life" and computers ....
Someone on Thom Hartmann recently was saying how the pro-life org used to

go to Methadone clinics to hire people there to demonstrate outside women's clinics!

The large computers used by MSM began coming in during mid-1960's and gave them

new powers to PREDICT and CALL elections -- winners, losers -- Elector College votes.

What we saw in 2000 was simply a reversal of those new powers.

Previously, MSM could only report actual vote tallies.

Meanwhile, smaller voting computers began coming in during late 1960's -- and I'd

question every election back to Nixon/Humphrey. I'm not sure there every was a

"Southern Strategy" -- the computers began coming in just about as America was passing

the Voting Rights Act.

These computers should be found "unconstitutional" -- but Dems are doing nothing on these

voting issues.

8. EXCELLENT!
Someone has to die here for there to be a board opening, and since the entire board are zombies and vampires, that's not going to happen any time soon.

28. And WE are lucky! This is exactly what the Dems need - more true-blue Dems
who act like Dems and are Dems in name AND deed. We have to start rehabilitating the whole notion of what it means to be a Democrat particularly since relatively few actual Dems nowadays seem to know or care or feel committed to anything like that. How many of 'em ran away from our philosophy, what we stand for, and our leading figures from Obama to Pelosi to Reid? And those few who did, how many of 'em finally decided to start doing so the day before yesterday?

We need to spread like wildfire until we overrun the place.

26. Good! Now you can propose a resolution to oppose any and all cuts in social programs ....

that will be preposed in the final report of the deficit commission.

And perhaps your county Democratic Party can build a big demonstration against ANY and ALL cuts directed against the elderly and working people that will be advocated in the final commission report.

The county organization could put out a call to all progressive organizations, seniors and working people to support the Democratic Party call for a united protest demonstration and other actions against cuts in Social Security, Medicare, etc.,

Think this can be accomplished?
