1. This is where he'll lose hardcore supporters like myself...
and even my mom. We both discussed this a couple weeks ago and it will definitely be tax cuts for the rich that will be like President Obama throwing a bucket of cold, icy water on us. We're already standing in below zero temperatures, so to speak. I desperately hope this is horseshit. I didn't fucking vote for Axelrod.

5. from the dailykos...
this is an on the record interview of David Axelrod by Sam Stein & Howard Fineman, two very credible reporters who have worked DC for years. And Axelrod is the President's oldest and most trusted adviser, so it's not like this is just more BS gossip from "anonymous sources"

6. a friend suggested that i post his idea that obama resign so that biden can pick a new vp
and we can possibly win 2012..much of the hatred is unfortunately about race...the rest is obama throwing the middle class under the bus..

10. the first comment on the article reveals it as a pack of lies;
Edited on Thu Nov-11-10 09:13 AM by dionysus
Not so fast!! Greg Sargent is reporting otherwise.

UPDATE: White House denies giving in on Bush tax cuts: The White House is sharply denying the Huffington Post story claiming that David Axelrod signaled a willingness to accept a temporary extension of all the Bush tax cuts, claiming that their position remains unchanged.

Axelrod emails:

There is not one bit of news here. I simply re-stated what POTUS and Robert have been saying. Our two strong principles are that we need to extend the tax cuts for the middle class, but we can't afford a permanent extension of the tax cuts for the wealthy.

12. Just part of the Republican plan
Tearing us apart, making the President a one termer, then getting Jeb Bush or some other Neanderthal elected to finish the job on the working people of this country fast.

I am out of hope for this country of simple minded, racist, morons anyway. Elections are nothing but a joke now since the corporations can spend all they want to keep their guys in power anyway. Whatever happens will be exactly what the Chamber of Commerce wants to happen, we have zero voice in the matter.

13. Unrecommended for being false.
Not everything on the internet is true. I know that's hard to believe, but there it is.

The White House has specifically denied this stuff. So, President Obama does NOT agree.

I am seeing more and more people make similar statements, and this is independent of if the story is true.

20. Why does he bend to those who will always loathe him?
This is the strangest part of Obama's presidency. He seems obsessed with trying to gain acceptance by his detractors on the right, as if they'll love him if can only reach out to them enough.
