WHY wasn't cuts in Congressional pensions included in the Cat Food Commission?
WHY isn't cuts in Congressional and Senate pay included in the Cat Food Commission report?

It's ALWAYS the little guy who takes it in the neck. Unemployment NOT extended for taxpayers who were devastated by the recession. TAXPAYERS taking it in the neck when this so-called commission wants to take away the biggest tax break the middle class gets -- being able to take the interest they pay on their mortgages off on their taxes.

WTF?

WHEN will we start chopping from the top? How many MILLIONAIRES are in Congress who really don't NEED their paychecks or perks? WHEN is their going to be a commission to see just how WASTEFUL Congress and the Senate are in their day to day dealings? WHY should the little guy pay for car leases and gas allowances?

I'm sick to death of watching the American Middle Class being scapegoated and beaten up on because of a deficit THEY did not build.

CHOP FROM THE TOP! DEMAND IT!

:grr:

1. good question!
It would be one of the first things I would do. No more life time pensions for a few years work. They just take that money and join lobbyist firms anyway.

7. Better to charge for the Smitsonian! That's the real drain!
Not the millions upon millions doled out to rich Congress people every year for retirement pensions.
