Now what are those who benefited from that sacrifice willing to put up? May I suggest the expiration of the Bush tax cuts?
Or maybe a little jail time...let them choose.

They are specific to a few industries...real estate agents, appraisers, loan officers, those who collateralized the mortgages...
I wish we could target just these people but I'm not sure how realistic that is.
