The Dems And Their Money Raising Efforts..... |
|
They called for money when they wanted Gore to defeat Bush. I gave. Gore gave up the fight. We got 4 years of BushCo. They called for money when they wanted Kerry to defeat Bush. I gave. Kerry could have contested some vote counts. He didn't. We got 4 more years of BushCo. They called for money when they wanted Obama to defeat McCain. I gave. Obama won. We gave them the Presidency, the House and the Senate. They gave us hope but didn't have the stomach to fight for us and make good on the promises. They called for money when they wanted to pass Health Care Reform. I gave. They gave up on single payer, the public option and gave us a watered down version short of real reform. They called for money when they wanted to reign in Wall Street and the banksters. I gave. We got watered down reform and Wall St and the banksters are up to their old ways. They called when they wanted to maintain the House and the Senate in the midterms. I gave. We barely maintained the Senate and lost the House because they didn't communicate how they were different and better. Some running Dems even ran from the party.
Today again I got a call for money from another Dem organization - because we lost the House and we need to fight back.
I put my foot down and gave up giving. No more campaign donations from me. Am I wrong?

and I have no money to give anymore.
I need the money for my own living expenses - they are no longer for the American middle or lower class people. I need to take care of myself .
