Organ theft won't work unless there is a tissue typing database. I can see organ sales brokers popping up, though, a few grand under the table for a kidney or lobe of a liver.

In the last Republican Depression, cheap diners did OK, especially since people would trade whatever they had of value for a dinner or two.

People with real trades will be OK, bartering work for food and possibly shelter. Even tax accountants will still be OK.

Everybody else will be scrambling.
