I open Amazon's front page and what do I see?

1. I stopped buying from Amazon (coincidentally I bought two Kindle editions)

the day before yesterday. Until they remove the book from circulation and dump it on the dust bin where it belongs, I am not buying any more Amazon products.

it will sink of its own accord soon enough. I have to admit to really depending on Amazon for all kinds of things (though I try to buy books from Tattered Cover). I wonder if I'm going to have to pay taxes on those purchases, given the new CO law?....:shrug:

17. I just checked Amazon's home page, and saw the Audible.com ad for

"The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest". Clearly, Amazon highlights books on a random basis, and some here are getting upset over virtually nothing. I have all three of that EXCELLENT trilogy on Audible, and can't recommend them highly enough! They doesn't even sound as though they're translation from another language, and the narration is uniformly excellent. I'm on one at this very moment! Sadly, the author is deceased.

I've been a heavy purchaser of Audible.com products for quite some time, but only recently learned that Amazon had purchased it some time back. They carry enough books by Ann Coulter and such, but virtually all the books mentioned favorably on DU, are also carried there.

Lighten up, guys/gals!
