andrea mitchell just made a statement...is it true?
i can't find anything to refute or confirm it.....she said it as if it were fact.

they were talking about the election and the deficit commission

this was her statement verbatim....

'that clearly was the message, more important than anything else, job creation, anything else, was deficit reduction according to all the exit polls'

1. no, it's a lie. she's a liar. all these people do is lie. do you really believe
that when unemployment is 10% & businesses are going bust, localities losing tax base, people leave the polls saying "deficit reduction, oh yes!"

they don't. andrea greenspan's demographic is the only one screaming about deficit reduction.

3. They usually use double blind.
So the news casters are told what to say, then they say it even though it is fudged numbers from some think tank.

Really the journalist don't always know what is credible either. So it is not all the journalist at fault, but a system that removed having the ability for them to be investigative journalist.

4. Maybe ... I think alot of average Joes don't quite understand ...
... that 'huge deficit' does not equal BAD in this type of freefall. It took me reading Krugman and Galbraith to finally get that, and I'm sure probably 75% of the people I know and work with have never heard of either of them, or taken an Econ class.

9. Er, earlier this morning on MSNBC, a guest said it was 15% of the electorate,
Edited on Thu Nov-11-10 01:54 PM by stopbush
and that that 15% was made up mostly of conservatives.

Mitchell is lying...or stupid.

12. She's a paid liar. Remember Valerie Plame?
Mrs Greenspan said (when it was a hot issue) it was commonly known on the cocktail circuit that Valerie was CIA.

She lied.

She retracted it months later (only after confronted).

10. Fewer than 2/3 of the folks that voted in 2008 voted in 2010
Many of the ones that voted in 2010 were spurred on by media and anonymous donor organizations interested in reducing taxes and slashing entitlements

Andrea Mitchell is a Propagandist......
