1. Not surprised. It was telling the truth too much.
Can't have that now can we?

7. really?
I watched a couple of episodes and just didn't care for it.
I must have missed the truth it was telling.
What was it?

11. The truth it was telling was that the rich and powerful
go to extreme measures to enhance and protect their wealth at the expense of many innocent lives.

Not really news, except that it showed how exactly it can play out at the highest levels of government.

2. Maybe another network will pick it up.
The characters were really well developed. Which network advertises "character, anyone?"

9. Yes, that's the one.
Rubicon was a smart program. Unfortunately, the last two programs got a little weak. Sort of like the writers just wanted to get it over with.

8. I liked it too, though it was dark show...
both in theme and staging. Interesting, though if you gave it the time.

10. I always thought it was a parody of the goofy, bizarre CT'er *weltanschauung*,
which is truly a distorted view of reality in 99.999999% of cases involving some kind of supposed "conspiracy."

It was simply too convoluted to be taken seriously: as satire, in the sense I describe above, it was perfect.

As a serious drama...eh, not so much.

Sometimes, they try too hard..

13. I really loved the show.
As drama, it was a bit like a good baseball game. Very slow, very atmospheric, terrific talent in the game, just a pleasure to watch the players standing around in the field, and then....BAM! Something fantastic and shocking happens.
And then more slow, atmosphere, build-up ...and, again..BAM!
The conspiracy that they're slowly laying out for us isn't that far out for me, and, (I swear!) I am not fond of nor a believer in most conspiracy theories.
My first thought when I read your headline, pgodbold was that "Teh stupid DID understand it....too well!" Maybe it's just me, but I kept thinking about the Carlyle Group while I watched it.

Oh rats rats rats rats. I was so looking forward to the next season!!!! And I was falling in love with Arliss Howard.

15. I watched the whole season
I found it really slow and convoluted, difficult to follow but I stayed with it since I kind of like X-Files type shows. It got better in the last few episodes.

Maybe they tried to do too much with all the vast conspiracy stuff that meandered about.

Am sorry to see it go. It had potential.
