1. Frontline did a story a few weeks ago about a guy they executed in Texas
He supposedly burned down his house and his kids died. But after he was executed, it was proven the fire was an accident.

We need to eliminate the death penalty.

3. Bush and Gonzalez probably signed off on it.
What's also a shame: The smirking idiot and his legal minder themselves run free.

4. Oh no.
and even with proof like this, death penalty proponents will pretend this never happened

I cannot imagine the horror that would have been going on in this person's mind knowing they did not commit this crime while they were putting them to death. Unimaginable.

State sanctioned murder needs to end NOW.

Life in prison without parole.period

7. I would much rather be humanely executed than spend the rest of my life in prison.
Hard to believe I'm the only one.

18. Not if you are innocent I am thinking
If you want to ask to be put to death for your crime, fine.

10. Well he did murder his cell mate in Kansas by setting him on fire.
I imagine this execution was not a huge loss to humanity.

17. Recommend. Nothing done to secure death penalty convictions surprises me.
It's an assembly line from the jailhouse to the death penalty chamber in Huntsville. Everything is designed to assure convictions, and once obtained, to leave those convictions undisturbed by appeals courts.
