I hadn't heard that before. I was really focused on the Bush tax cuts and Social Security.

2. Given the abuse of charitable donations by political "religious" organizations, I just might...
...support eliminating the deductability of charitable giving.

Far too much of such giving is either illegally used to lobby
against things I believe in or simply spent on maintenance
and operations expenses for the organization's clubhouse.
