important read.."Businesses Do Not Create Jobs"
"Businesses do not create jobs. In fact, the way our economy is structured the incentive is for businesses to get rid of as many jobs as they can...Demand Creates Jobs...A job is created when demand for goods or services is greater than the existing ability to provide them..."

1. Exactly! I just don't get why many people can't understand this... I guess
ignorance just abounds and many are damn proud of their ignorance.

4. It's analogous to people that think if the stock market goes up that means
a job for them. Granted there is some correlation, but IMO that was more relevant in decades past.

2. I have said this exact same thing here on DU, and I will be watching

5. Yes. Businesses are sitting on piles of cash right now and not creating jobs.
And if they need cash because of demand, they get a loan.

Giving them cash as a tax break is a scam guaranteed to steal money from our retirement and old age medical programs.
