In this undated booking photo released by the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Ryan Bowman, 34, is shown.
Bowman, an Australian businessman, surrendered to authorities in West Hollywood after a pedestrian on Sunset Boulevard was killed in a hit-and-run collision with a Bentley. Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says the 43-year-old Bowman, accompanied by his attorney, surrendered Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010 and was being booked on suspicion of manslaughter in the death of Lauren Ann Freeman. The head of the Australian distributor of "Girls Gone Wild" is accused in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Southern California.
Ryan Bowman of Zeal Entertainment was being held today on $2 million bail after being booked for felony vehicular manslaughter. Sheriff's officials say Bowman's Bentley struck and killed 21-year-old Lauren Ann Freeman as she crossed a street Wednesday night in West Hollywood.
