Jon is a comedian. Really. He's in Adam Sandler movies. This is in comparison to Rachael, Keith, and Bill Moyers. I really love Jon and his hilarious takes on our political craptacular festival of insanity. His show is on Comedy Central, but unlike the comedians in Wild Palms he is not risking anything of value and apparently will not even try to risk anything except believing his own publicity. You see, Rachael, Keith and Bill are not the type to believe their own publicity enough to take it on the road and have a show about how evil has an open mind, or that we should listen to the people on the train to crazy town. RK and B care too much about truth, the right thing to do, and not be tempted to put on a show like Spanky and the Gang over a comedy writers lunch in Manhattan.
It sucks that Jon made this almost making him irrelevant mis-step, because he had the firepower to do nore than look like he was going to get sat on by Maddow, or have the surreal pony up time interview/prove it with the tree sloth Wallace.
Just like there is right and wrong and we are on the good side, there are comedians and journalists, it should be easier to know the difference before getting on the Metroliner now.
