Mystery 'Missile' Identified As US Airways Flight 808
"The mystery missile discussed on Slashdot Tuesday? It was US Airways 808 from Honolulu to Phoenix. An amateur sleuth checked the time against airline schedules, then the following day, checked out a webcam that was trained in the appropriate direction. He found the exact same contrail at the time AWE808 was coming over. The author deals persuasively with a number of objections to his argument

Occam's Razor has me mostly agreeing. Oddly shaped contrails are far more common in metro areas than errant missile launches.

5. Somebody add civilian craft to this chart

Oh never mind, I got to admit, it is funny.

On to the next time when they again do this and look for something that will make sense to most of the people...

LOL

Living in SoCal we are used to this...

The B1 was a figment of our imagination for decades.

10. The entire flight is FAKE !!!!!!!
Geeze ... how stupid are we ... ??

Look, you want to test missiles ... so you create a phony commercial flight that no one is actually on, it takes off, and then you fire your test missile.

If anyone screams, you blame the fake commercial flight!!!! Its a perfect decoy!!

This is SOOOO obvious!!

17. What is sad that all that money we give the govt and they could not tell us that?
First it was 'we don't know' then it was 'it is a plane, we don't know which one or any other info'

And they want to pat folks down and xray them at airports?

How about this "We check records and radar, and at that time flight x was in the air at that location'.

Naw - but they sure can tell what time you made a call, see your text messages, and know what you look like under your clothes, etc.

If true, they look like total idiots for not knowing and having real answers.
