Bush on post-presidency: 'I miss being pampered'
– Sat Nov 13, 5:56 pm ET

THE VILLAGES, Fla. – Former President George W. Bush says he doesn't miss much about the White House, just the pampering. Bush told more than 3,000 people at a sprawling central Florida retirement community on Saturday that he misses the convenience of Air Force One and never waiting in traffic jams. The 43rd president said, most of all, he misses being commander in chief of the U.S. military.

In his 30-minute speech, he talked about what it was like to return the salute of men and women.

The Villages retirement community is heavily Republican. Many in the crowd waved American flags and wore hats noting their military service.

Bush is on a national tour promoting his new memoir, "Decision Points."

Oh. . .little Lord Fauntleroy misses getting his ass wiped too? As the line from Coming to America stated as Eddie Murphy was in the bathroom "the royal penis is clean, sire."

4. Seriously
He has enough money to get as much pampering as he ever did in the White House. Maybe he just doesn't want to have to pay for it with his nickle. It was fine when the tax payers were doing it.

:eyes:

5. Next stop: McDonalds off I-95 between Oakland Park and Pompano Beach
But, get there before 10:30 in the morning, because seating is limited and they stop serving McBreakfasts at that time.
Sadly, there will not be any Happy Meals available because Bush resents people having any type of enjoyment while eating their food.

6. I saw him say the thing about the veterans
It was like he added it as an afterthought.

Very insincere.

He said it because he was pandering. This lazy, nothing person who fled from the military was pandering to the veterans (because it was on or around Veteran's Day). And these fools in their hats were lapping it up.

Hey, let's face it. This country just has a lot of stupid people and that's why people like bush get away with what they get away with (that and the system--we need instant runoff voting).

It's not like this is the first round of bushes.

I've pretty much decided that as a species, we're too stupid to live and it's well-deserved if it's over for us.

8. Brother Jeb misses "the fresh towels" in the Governor's mansion...
Blech.

Most would miss the people one served and had the opportunity to meet along the way.

Not this family. It has always been about their gluttonous gratification.

The international rage and shame this man branded on America will never be forgotten.
