Remember the RW mantra "perception is reality".
The main RW tactic is not to change reality (e.g. by actually doing something to improve the situation)

...it's to change the perception.

The way they change the perception is to repeat the same or similar things over and over throughout the various media
(and also carefully coordinated PR stunts).

In NLP and Magical Thinking these are called "affirmations" - a form of self-hypnosis where if you repeat something enough you begin to believe it.

In neocon terms this is called "creating reality".

3. It is not a new tactic for them and Rs have been doing this
for decades. They use marketing tricks to scam an intentionally dumbed down public.

4. I'm sure you're right.
Something else I wanted to mention is that they seem to have a preset narrative that they plan a year or two or more in advance.

I'd like to see the Dems become more aware of that side of the game.

A lot of the memes surfacing now were obvious 18 months ago to anyone who watches Fox News or talks to a tea partier.

There should be a way to counteract them.
