This letter was published in the TH today;

Steve King had it right when he said we lost our sovereignty as Iowans by the judges' actions.

The election was great. The end result was great. We the people and the will of the people was met in so many ways when liberals got voted out. Let the judges and politicians remember to do the will of the people or get voted out.

Activist judges have always been a problem nationwide. I call this common sense, common decency, and my Bible says marriage is between a man and a woman.

The letter, while rather disgusting, was nothing compared to the comments that were posted for this letter;

YES is the answer Timby, if the majority supports anything I think it is what is right for our country. and personally I believe races shouldn't mix. for one thing it is hard on their children and should be considered child abuse. You dont breed mastifs with chiuahas because it would be qwrong which is why purebreds are worth more than muts lol U have a sick sence of morals sir and should have your head examened

As Americans we the people decide EVERYTHING, not the homosexual sodimizers or their supporters. If there are so many people who want to legalize gay marriage then us as Americans could designate space for them all on some remote island someplace so my children do not have to be exposed to such criminal activity and sickness. Eventually they will all die off because they cannot reproduce and never would I agree that they should be allowed to raise children because as parents we are charged with the task of teaching our children right from wrong and homosexuality is in deed wrong.IMHO

A really simple solution to alot of the problems in this country is to let everyone exercise their 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms. If every citizen was armed and knew hot to protect their life family and property, there wouldn't be any crime because criminals would be dead and not sucking off the tax payers free ride system called prison. Here in Florida there is no duty to retreat and force can be met with force including deadly force. And Timby, you sir are wrong as the vote itself declares, Judges are in deed tasked with following the will of the people or they will no longer be Judges. This article is spot on and appropriate for all. Homosexuality is sodomy plain and simple. Even though some sinners like to sin dosent make it right to expose everyone to it against their will. Personally if I walked in on 2 guys goin at it I would assume 1 was rapeing the other and act acordingley.

I suggested the removal of these comments. Hopefully these comments will be gone within a few hours and this homophobic troll will be invited to not post comments anymore.
