in the Red wilderness...my partner and I met another Democrat
...we were shopping in a health food store in Red Hell, and overheard a woman looking for honey for her dog-rescue/animal rehab.
my partner took her aside and referred her to a local farmer who got his from the source.
we talked about the fate of pets due to the economy...and I just blurted.."So how do you feel about the latest elections?"

"well,I've been a teacher for 40 years...and it's going to hell in a handbasket"

We all hugged with joy to meet another stranded in the wilderness.

Welcome to Red Hell, folks. It ain't gonna change unless we speak out and stay strong.

Peace.
Beth

3. I can so relate with your story here.
Good to know that I'm not the only one who rejoices in finding another blue dot in the sea of red I live in.

4. Empathize!
I live in the county where Ken Buck is DA. Had the rest of the state voted with this county, Buck would be senator and our governor-elect would be Tom Tancredo. Ew.

Colorado also has the largest population of non-believers in America, two very liberal cities, and a lot of Hispanics who will not tolerate being second-class citizens in their own states. I hear it's beautiful, but I live so far away I may as well be on anothe rplanet.

19. Don't get me wrong
I love Dairy Queen. My mom always took us to DQ after school when we were little. But I'm confident that when you worked at DQ, that restaurant didn't broadcast Sean Hannity's face in hi-def during your stay.
