Supporters, Protesters Gear Up For Bush Presidential Center

(Dallas, TX) -- Officials are gearing up to break ground tomorrow on a $300-million presidential center and library honoring former President George W. Bush.

The ex-Commander-in-Chief will be present at the groundbreaking ceremony for the George W. Bush Presidential Center at Southern Methodist University along with his wife Laura and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Critics of the Bush administration will be present as well to protest the center as part of a series of events called the People's Response.

The group is planning a march and rally to protest Bush-era policies, such as the war in Iraq.
The nearly 230,000 square-foot center will include a library, museum, classrooms, an auditorium and a presidential suite.

One can only hope the Residential suite has bars on the windows and doors.

Additionally, it would be interesting to know how much of the total cost was dedicated to living quarters that will probably never be used by the pResident, but loaned to sycophants of BushCo* for favors past and future.
