Poor Brian Williams...
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/15/brian-williams-dvr-nightly-news_n_783491.html

His ratings must be hitting the dumper, asks viewers to DVR the Nightly News. If he told/read the real news he might not be having this problem. Good article but the comments are where it's at..

1. I love comments
Today I read in comments in the Daily Beast that Keith Olbermann lives with his mother. Pretty difficult, considering that she died last year.

2. BBC, Al Jazeera, the MegaHertz channels (RT, Deutche Welle, etc...).
Every one of them is a far better news source than our MSM.

Our talking heads lost their last shreds of credibility when they were bought by the multi-nationals, chose to propagandize for BushCo* and the MIC - after the FCC rules were "streamlined" and consolidation/concentration of media outlets became the norm.

3. They're losing viewers?
Not enough tough, hard-hitting pieces on "Education Nation" with endless commentary from people who haven't seen the inside of a classroom since their undergraduate days? What are we coming to as a country that we tune in a news program for news? Let me put it this way, Mr. Williams: You give us something besides rip-and-read pieces from the RNC blast faxes, and we'll take you a little more seriously.
