Jon Stewart "naming and shaming" McCain on DADT

They did a video with the theme "It Gets Worse" where 4 different Daily Show guys pop up on the screen talking about how every story has a bad guy that is remembered for fighting the inevitable. And it will be McCain who will be remembered in history for using "increasingly obvious stalling tactics" to prevent the repeal of DADT.

It was brutal and brilliant! :patriot:

2. Like those criticizing the President
Stewart can't be given a free pass, he made some stupid statements and deserves to be ridiculed a bit. Doesn't take anything away from the good stuff he does.

10. I have probably read a hundred, if not more, people
who are "done" with John because of 2 seconds of footage of Keith and Ed in a montage. And it wasn't sarcasm. Lots of thin skin around here.

And what Stewart said is pretty consistent with what he has been saying for years. He just dared indicate that perhaps the left does it a tiny little bit, too.

4. Rachel slammed McCain tonight too
I loved what Jon Stewart did with the idea of McCain being remembered in
the future, when DADT is just a memory, as the one who opposed it
with increasingly bogus excuses. Both shows tonight really nailed him.
