... if you want an escape from politics for a moment, try reading in some of the DU forums. That's where you will find what life is like for a lot of us.

We have cancer forums, poverty forums, health forums. etc. That's where you'll find what's concerning our friends here in everyday life other than politics. Lend an ear and support. You might just find out that someone you know needs your help.

2. So Uben, how long does it take to get a new group approved?

I proposed one last week and went through all the steps and emailed it all in last Thursday and I've yet to hear anything and the group got enough (enthusiastic) supporters within hours of the thread being posted and it's nothing controversial.

I'm so gawdamn worried about my ass and what the politician corps want to do to it to go anywhere but gd it seems. I'm going to have to do that though as this political worry is not good for me at my age
