True bipartisanship
Being bipartisan doesn't necessarily mean that you have to compromise away your most heartfelt of convictions in order to work with 'Pugs. There are some issues that transcend political parties, that are, in their essence truly offensive to both sides.

One such issue that I've noticed is that of the TSA security groping. Neither liberals, nor conservatives are in favor of this TSA hobbesian choice. I just went over to FR in order to see what they thought, and this is what I found.

They are as unhappy about this TSA madness as we are. And thus an opportunity presents itself, to work together with those that we normally don't get along with in order to bring about some greater good.

This is what true bipartisanship is, working together with conservatives in order to address issues that both sides find outrageous. And the result of such a bipartisan approach might, just might, lead to further collaboration on other common ground issues, and better yet, the opportunity to change some hearts and minds.

We do really need to start working with the other side on issues in which we find ourselves in agreement. The powers that be long ago realized that to rule for their own benefit they needed to divide the vast class of the working man along artificially set up divisions. They have been successful with this strategy for a long time, using race, religion, money, class and politics to keep the populace divided. If we are going to successfully seize this country back as our own, we need to present a united front in order to overcome the money, power and wealth of TPTB.

Thus, we have the perfect opportunity here, a chance to work with conservatives in order to overturn an egregious overreach of authority in our country. It is a good place to start, and you never know what else we might find ourselves in agreement about, what we can teach, what we can learn.

Let us use this opportunity, and start bridging that artificial divide. Otherwise, as a divided people, we will be conquered.

1. Nobody wants to discuss this, working with the "enemy"?
Have we become so set in our positions that we're willing to be so easily divided and conquered?

3. One more kick,
But it looks like nobody wants to come out of their comfy mindsets on this one. A shame, as they say, divide and conquer.
