4. I said on a similar thread the other day...
... that if I actually got to play a role in the terra-forming of Mars I would jump at it. To be able to play a role in one of the most important events in man's history would be too hard to pass up.

12. The Science Forum isn't exactly a biggie.
If you didn't see it when it briefly appeared on the Latest page you would only have seen it by going to that forum. I only remembered because I responded to the thread.

14. YES!
I've always wanted to "go"... somewhere, anywhere.

Back in the 60's when I was a little kid and the UFO craze was on, I used to call up to the sky, "TAKE ME! I WANT OT GO!!"

I've discovered I am claustrophobic thanks to disneylands Nemo submarine ride. The thought of being cooped up in that thing gives me the willies.

21. Colonization trip? Certainly.
One-way to explore, then die? That's what robot probes are for.

I've gotten too old physically to try and see the universe from anything other than my hearth and home.

I doubt if anyone would want me to go, either, and that's just fine with me!

26. Depending on what happens in the next 25 years or so, maybe
I haven't had my fill of Earth yet, but I could see being interested in this at some point. The chance to explore a frontier that no human has ever explored is very appealing...

on the slopes of the Petronius Massif, next to the Petronius Sea, etc... :)

30. I would have said yes until I read about the Mars habitat on Devon Island in Northern Canada
they found the environment most like Mars on Earth, and it was on a barren, dry, cold island near the arctic.

Once the novelty of being on another planet wore off, it would be pretty damn boring.

32. If the Extra-Terrestrials made a stop on Mars on their way through our solar system...
and I was for some strange reason picked to be the person going out to meet them... maybe. Probably. Okay, when do I leave?

I'd only do it for the fame.

Sure, why not.
