He is exactly the sort of person I would love loved to see in 2000, much like Gore would have been, however, there is one small truth that many detractors would not admit; the bully pulpit means little to nothing in an age of fake news. Clinton, Dean and others would have been creamed...however, the silver lining is that now, the MSM has been shown for the hollow force it is, because to smear Obama, they really had to overextend their reach.
