A guy in my band was sent a letter from Newt to sign.

He was supposed to sign the letter and have a local paper publish it. The guy is conservative but is an independent and he couldn't figure out why it was sent to him. He wouldn't do it. The one upside was that I could show the conservative guys in the band how low the republicans would go to win and explain just how astroturfing is done.
Did I ever say just how much I hate republicans?
