3. No. She's a highly effective leader who was ultimately penalized as a result of

the ineffective and corporate loving Senate. She did her job - they didn't.

4. Of course she is. Did you watch the last election?

The question is whether being controversial is a problem. I wish Obama was more controversial. I think he would fare much better in the polls if he were, and he would take a lot of the heat off of Pelosi and others for matching his "controversial" rhetoric. Just my opinion though.

Nancy is an excellent leader; she is "controversial" supposedly, only because of the right wing's making her so. I still wish she hadn't taken impeachment "off the table". Even if the House had more important things to do, she could have held it as a card in her hand to use. But overall, her career, and her success, is a wonderful example for girls. She led the passage of so many great bills that were never even mentioned in the Senate. She did not have the White House behind her all the time, but often it was the White House that she was pushing in the right direction. If she had had a strong Senate, and a strong President to work with, miracles could have been accomplished. Now, she will have to settle for standing a strong "defense".
