Rev. to NJ church leaders: Thou shalt not Facebook
Source: Associated Press

NEPTUNE, N.J. — Thou shalt not commit adultery. And thou also shalt not use Facebook.

That's the edict from a New Jersey pastor who feels the two often go together.

The Rev. Cedric Miller said 20 couples among the 1,100 members of his Living Word Christian Fellowship Church have run into marital trouble over the last six months after a spouse connected with an ex-flame over Facebook.

But, but... I thought the gays were ruining marriage? Now I'm confused.

2. Well, I would have some words for Rev Miller
and they might not be exactly what he would like to hear..

I think there is still Freedom of Speech in this country and he doesn't get to tell anyone just what they will or will not do.

the problem is not facebook.

the problem are people who do not view their vows as something to respect. To me, that sounds as if the rev didn't do a good enough job of explaining the requirements of marriage before he married these 20 couples.. so the failure, really, is on his side. Plenty of married people use facebook and do not engage in inappropriate behavior.

7. I've been on FB for about two years now
and MY marriage is still solid. FB doesn't cause the problem. If people are gonna cheat, they're gonna find a way to cheat.
