NOBODY and I mean NOBODY on these "news" programs EVER, EVER,
Seriously talks about how much money these stupid illegal wars are costing us.
I mean sure, Keith and Rachel and others dance around it, but where is the absolute apoplectic, screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs pleading, to STOP THESE FUCKING WARS?
Unemployment and Social Security?
Gotta go.
Wars and War machines?
Yeah, baby.
You can never have enough of THOSE.

I'm really starting to hate this country I was once so proud of.

7. I understand that. So does Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy...
But take your DU hat off for a minute.
Stand on a busy street corner in say... Independence, Missouri.
Stop a 100 passer-byes and ask them "who's Thom Hartmann"?

How many people would respond with "Oh, yeah! I listen to him"!

How many?

9. Three months of Afghanistan $$ going to the state of California
Edited on Fri Nov-19-10 03:13 PM by truedelphi
Would mean that we were no longer facing a huge deficit here.

And it is OUR money. This state only receives 73 to 78 cents per every dollar we feed the Federal government.

But our Senator Di Deinstein, she and her husband made a tidy lil 27 million dollars on war contracts within two months of her voting in the Iraq War!

And Geithner, that lying sack of shit, he told Ahnold that no, the Federal Government could not possibly loan the state of California 20 Billion. Although he has more than enough ability to help "the Bernank" feed the Big Guys on Wall Street.

If we fed the money going to Afghanistan back to the states, After Just One Year of Doing This, then there would no longer be any states with serious deficits.

Money could come back to the states through funding for bullet trains, solar panels and wind turbines, in other words: beefing up the green jobs. Wein/win for ALL of us,
giving people some jobs and pulling the plug on the Big Oil industry.

5. EVERY other news story is secondary to this one...
EVERY one. Debt...deficit... DADT...terrorism...

Nothing will be OK until we tame the MIC and the goddam wars.
