viewing/reading that interview.

There was a time, not so long ago, when the movement penetrated all aspects of society, and people made working for justice and peace a part of everything they engaged in. The struggle was fought on a thousand fronts in a thousand ways, Many such periods before that one. I comes about when people's sense of what is good and what is bad, for all of us together, makes us, we the people, begin to act and participate with others in doing something.

That, too, can happen here. Others do act for peace and justice today, but the movement has not yet achieved the depth and breadth of earlier periods.
