It appears that Sarah Palin does not have much of a fan in Barbara Bush.

In an interview on CNN's Larry King Live, the former first lady said she once sat next to Alaska's one-time governor.

Her impression?

"Thought she was beautiful. And she's very happy in Alaska," Bush said, chuckling. "I hope she'll stay there."

I predict that the corporate media will extend the attack beyond 'reality' TV, however. Sarah Palin represents a real threat to the GOP establishment, and they will take her down in the court of public opinion. She represents a challenge to their Anointed One (who appears to be Mitt Romney at this point), so look for some really juicy factoids to go into heavy rotation over the next year. Call me Nostradumbass for predicting this, but I really don't think I'm going that far out on a limb.

...since Schunemann and Schmidt "convinced" McCain to put her on the ticket. They thought she'd be a sweet little thing that read the talking points, gave the wink and not much else. A "pretty face" to hide the old white men who were really calling the shots. She went "rogue" early and often...showing a total lack of discipline as a serious campaigner and eventually a liability. She's been alienating the party power structure ever since.

What we're witnessing is one of the biggest ego trips of all time. Mooselini is in her own Private Alaska with the corporate media going along for the ride and fueling her narcisism. We're seeing an amping up of the contempt on both sides...should make for a very amusing and brusin' GOTB primary season next year.
