Update on bugman's trial
You know if this was about a Dem and the DNC, the M$M would be covering this wall to wall:

http://www.statesman.com/news/texas-politics/delay-trial-winds-down-without-defendant-testifying-1057844.html

Tom DeLay's defense team rested Thursday without the former U.S. House majority leader taking the stand to answer charges of conspiracy and money laundering from the 2002 elections.

(snip)

In the final arguments, the challenge for Travis County prosecutors is to connect the dots between more than 350 exhibits and the testimony of 38 witnesses to show DeLay conspired to launder the corporate money.

This much both sides seemed to agree on: DeLay's chief political aide, Jim Ellis, negotiated a deal with the Republican National Committee to donate $190,000 to seven Texas candidates from its noncorporate account. In exchange, Texans for a Republican Majority, a political committee DeLay started, gave the RNC $190,000 of corporate money. Ellis provided the RNC with a list of candidates and the amounts they should be given.

(snip)

"Jim Ellis told me he was going to do it," DeLay told prosecutors in 2005. "Before he did it?" prosecutors asked. "Uh-huh," DeLay answered. When Ellis told him about the money swap, DeLay told prosecutors he said, "Fine."

1. But they had no problems plastering Charlie Rangel's verdict all over the news.
Bugman's corruption is far more egregious and toxic.

2. Yep..not to mention this involved the national committee
and multiple repukes.

I like the part of the article where it says that the prosecutor showed his interviews from Fox news.
