4. Well there was Fuckie Todd
asking the usual rubbish and the Wall Street Journal guy didn't even have the manners to say thank you to the President before asking his question.

I'm annoyed about the extension of the Afghanistan war but Obama is responding thoughtfully as usual.

6. The MSNBC military expert agreed with Cenk yesterday that if Obama said
"I'm pulling the plug TODAY", that Obama would win in 2012. I know that's not the strategy, getting Obama re-elected, but I sure liked the sound of that!

I don't know or understand all it entails, and from MY perspective, we should start coming home tomorrow, but I'm glad they've now got a (as Biden said) drop dead date.

I heard it presented that the citizens WANT to keep the Taliban out of their lives, and if we can help with that, with training and so on, I'm more agreeable. But those lofty goals have never borne out in other attempts, to my knowledge.

As with Iraq, I do feel we have an obligation to the people after swooping in and disrupting their lives, but again, we don't seem to be doing the job.
