Why is it that Americans have to be subjected to intense
screening in order to fly when all the attempts at blowing up the airplanes were by people who boarded in another country. The threats were incoming...NOT Americans trying to harm Americans.

1. I'm sure you can probably answer your own question
It has nothing to do with security and everything to do with using fear to short-circuit critical thought, inculcate obedience, and discourage resistance.

The TSA is part of the control grid now being put in place to keep Americans in.. not keep the bad guys out.

Yesterday I was driving north on I-75 near Ocala, Fla. There were 2 Border Patrol Police cars sitting in the median. Ocala Florida is a LONG way from the mexican border.. what were they doing there?

Then... TSA and ICE did a major sweep of the bus station in Orlando. 30 Armed policemen and a hundred TSA goons with blue rubber gloves gloves... grabbing crotches and treating everyone like criminals in a work camp.

Americans are foolish.. they are allowing fascism to creep.. inch by inch. Soon.. there will be no turning back.

2. Well, on 9/11 the did board here.
However, there are three primary reasons for doing this.

(1) So when somebody blows Americans up, and they will, the government can say we did everything we could to protect you.
(2) Because it is easier to surrender our freedoms for the illusion of safety than to admit than to stay free and admit some dangers can not be avoided.
(3) So Chertoff can make money.

3. Because the only successful attack came from places like
JFK and Logan Airport, both in the US.

That is not to say that this level of scrutiny is warranted or even useful.

But hey, starting to use common sense security instead of scatter x-ray devices and free colonoscopys... (Slight exaggeration until they actually do that) is what is needed. The reason why this is not happening is... there is no money in training people in profiling, but there is LOTS of it in technology that don't do much good and can be fooled.
