Same-sex marriages are not legal in most US states, so some gay couples are finding creative ways to tie the knot.

Matt Mullenweg, the founder of WordPress, announced Thursday that he had witnessed a gay couple get married on a redeye flight from San Francisco to New York as it briefly crossed into Canadian airpace.

2. Right on! Creative nuptials! Now, if they consummated the

relationship in the air, they not only got married but they joined the mile high club during the same flight - I'm guessing that's a first on a commercial flight.

3. It's so nice to wake up to a sweet story like this

I usually know as I wake on Saturday, that not much awful will have happened but something nice is a treat. That said, I should add the caveat that this shouldn't be necessary! It would have been that much greater if the actual pilot had done the nuptials.
