6. OMG. When Congresswoman Pat Schroeder got choked up when announcing she was

withdrawing her primary bid to run for president, you would not have believed the mocking. I was in a newsroom at the time, too. Still working. I was shocked. The cat-calling and pretend crying - it was nauseating. She had an emotional moment, and she was a pioneer in that she was a woman running in a presidential primary - while sarah palin was still shooting at wolves from her high chair most likely. It was HORRID!!! And it was the men in the newsroom who were doing it. I didn't see any other woman in there joining them.
