Two Reason I Am Willing To See Lesser Security at the Airport...

I am willing to take the risk that I will make it to my destination unharmed...I fear more my bag is lost or the flight is diverted because of weather. I think we would be no less safer with the security levels of September 10th,2010.

Also,I believe we all take a greater risk driving on the streets in our community...as of March 17th, 2009 2670 people alone were killed by drunk drivers

http://cognac.com/2670-drunk-driving-deaths-so-far-in-2009/

In 2008 over 37K were killed at the wheel of a car, that is 10 9/11 alone...we don't have have police check point at every intersection to verify that drivers are sober do we.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) 37,261 people died in traffic crashes in 2008 in the United States (latest figures available), including an estimated 11,773 people who died in alcohol-impaired driving crashes. Drunk driving fatalities accounted for 32% of all traffic deaths last year, that is, on average someone is killed in an alcohol-impaired driving crash every 45 minutes in the U.S. (Source: NHTSA/FARS, 2009) http://www.centurycouncil.org/learn-the-facts/drunk-driving-research#888

The security at the airports is just a band-aide and another mechanism to help a group of individuals raope the econmic backbone of or treasure.

3. Your stats do't even incude those who died because of
sleepy drivers, people talking or texting on their phone, or simple incompetent driving. Our country insists on responding to the past in everything instead of looking to the future and what CAN HAPPEN. We're even still fightig the cod war instead of the new kind of individual attacks by relatively small groups of people who are not affiiated with a specific Country.
