Costa's (D-CA-20) Lead Over Vidak Continues to Grow

Republican challenger Andy Vidak got some more bad news late Friday afternoon in his 20th Congressional District race against Democratic incumbent Jim Costa.

Fresno County released new vote totals from absentee and provisional ballots, showing that Costa increased his lead over Vidak by more than 300 votes.

Costa now leads Vidak by more than 2,700 votes in the 20th district.

Fresno County still has about 1,000 ballots to tabulate, and Kern County still has about 4,500.

But it's not known how many of those are from the 20th District, and in any case, both counties are Costa strongholds, so whatever votes are left to count are likely to favor Costa.

elections we lost were very close, I wonder if they counted all the votes in those elections.
