So, George Bush is autographing books at Costco this weekend
Edited on Sun Nov-21-10 01:15 PM by Hamlette
Why? he doesn't need the money so my guess is it was part of his contract with the publisher and he thinks if lots of ppl read his book it will help his image? Yeah, we knew he was delusional.

But the best part is he's signing books at the most blue store in the nation. Palin did book signings at Costco too. Costco is 100% blue giving donations only to democrats, no republican ever.

Making these two unprincipled grifters.

1. Wear a hat with teabags hanging off of it - buy the book with cash to get in line, and...
write "You fucking drunken piece of shit war criminal bastard" where he signs all of the books and then leave the building. He won't understand any of the words with more than three letters so it will take a while for the translators to tell him you wrote, "GREAT JOB MY FAVORITE PRESIDENT" instead. By the time he realizes something was strange, you'll be in another county.

2. Does it make them unprincipled or does it make Costco unprincipled?
I imagine Costco is looking at this from a "get more bodies in the store" perspective.

4. I say more power to Costco
they are in business and we want them to do well.

And while I'll never buy and likely not read the book, I think we should consider all viewpoints. If a reviewer told me there was something new or original in the book I might read it. I read reasonable conservatives all the time. For me, its like reading someone who believes in God. I really want to understand how that happens. How you can believe something for which there is no proof.

3. When he starts autographing them at The Hague, I'll buy one.

5. LOL
I'd fly there to get his autograph from behind bars. What a treat that would be.

6. Somehow the image of a President, even him, sitting down at Costco to sign books
is a bit unsettling.

But then, he was a "common" person, in so many tacky ways.
