you really want to stop the TSA nonsense? start using rail or driving

We can sign petitions and make calls till we are blue in the face. No one is going to listen to us....the megalomaniacs are running the asylum.

We all know, the only way to get pressure on this is to hit the Airline's pocket books. If we all start using alternate means of travel the airlines will start screaming. And since we also know that Congress only listens to Big Businesses not puny little ol americans Congress just might decide to get the New Brown Shirts under control.

I still say that some rich SOB could make a killing if they would invest in revitalizing rail travel in this country. I remember traveling by rail as a kid, and it was the BEST.....seats that you can actually fit in, that are comfortable, you can get up and walk around, they have real food.......and best of all, NO TSA. The commercials would sell themselves.....pictures of the airports, the screening, the boarding process - like cattle, the sardine like feel on board, the treatment of your luggage like garbage........juxtaposed against boarding at you leisure in a seat the humans fit into, wide aisles, a whole food car where you can eat a table, your luggage gets to your destination the same time you do and all in one piece, and depending you where you're traveling; occasionally nice scenery....arriving relaxed, rested, content. Which way would you rather travel?
