The stark truth is there will always be risk of a terrorist attack
That is what people have to accept, if you are going to fly in a plane, just like the small risk of the plane crashing, there will be a small risk of a terrorist getting on board.

So these new strict procedures can still fail, and they will have to go to ridiculous Orwellian extremes to try and prevent this small risk the next time a terrorist somehow gets on a plane and breaks the security, like looking in your orifices and people having to strip down to nudity. And even then, there can be a flaw in the system that an intelligent devious mind can exploit.

So in my opinion they should go back to the previous security procedures, and yes, lessen the security. Because no matter what you do, security can always be compromised.

If you want to have no risk then don't fly at all.

3. One can die in all manner of ways
How come corporations can pollute the water supply and kill thousands
over years and they are not considered terrorists??

Not finding fault with your OP at all, just stating a fact

5. So true...
Crap in our air...crap in our water...crap food...toxic chemicals everywhere...stress

It's all killing us in larger numbers each day than all the terror attacks in a hundred years.

But one guy with a bomb in his underwear is the catalyst for insanity in this country.

Incredible.
