1. "a woman's execution could be delayed until the baby reaches the age of two"
Damn. How generous.

2. how could someone survive stoning?
i had to research it for a paper like a year and a half ago. first of all, they dig a hole and bury the person up to their chest, including their arms so they can't cover their face with their hands. all the stones gathered must be a certain measurement, and this is not to be nice, the reason for the size of the stones is to cause the maximum amount of damage and pain without causing immediate death. in other words, to make the victim suffer as much as possible before dying. the descriptions are really awful and sound like one of the most painful and inhumane punishments ever. the victim's eyeballs end up becoming dislodged and hang out of the sockets. by the time of death, most of the teeth are broken to pieces and the victims are choking on teeth and blood. i have to go back and find my paper, but i swear i remember that it can take up to 20 minutes to die by stoning, but most of the time it's much shorter. i guess alot of it depends on the victim and the hostility of the crowd. oh, and if a mother is being stoned, her children, no matter what age, must be there and witness the stoning. anyway, i don't remember reading about like a time limit or a limit on the number of stones for stoning. it's execution, they're supposed to keep throwing stones till the person dies. so how could anyone survive, as the chief of Iran's Human Rights Concil says is possible. and even if they did survive, they'd be blind and toothless and permanently disfigured.
okay one more point and i'll shut up. stoning is not just found in islamic societies. christians, jews, etc. do it too. it's more of a traditional thing in that area of the world. they were doing it long before islam even existed. i just hate seeing one more thing distorting people's perceptions of all muslims.

10. oh thanks
i didn't see that at all. i'll have to go back and see what else i missed. and in that link you showed it says right there that a doctor is there to determine if the person is dead, and if they're not, the stoning continues. i cannot imagine the pain of being stoned and not dying for two hours.

It's such a sick practice that sometimes goes seriously wrong with prisoners being slowly tortured to death while blue and orange flames shoot out of the helmets they wear while still alive and in intense agony.

I eagerly await international outrage and sanctions against us for these atrocities. Thank you for caring about the rights of people everywhere.

5. Every state now allows lethal injection to be chosen as an execution method.
Nobody goes to the electric chair anymore, except through choice.

I wish I could say the same thing about stoning.

8. I'm sorry, I can't get worked up about babies thrown from incubators,
stoning, burkas and what not when we're so gleefully, so barbarically exterminating so many innocent people in so many countries.
