Repeal health care? Give up your own first!
The petition reads:

"Senator McConnell and Congressman Boehner, I am calling on you and your fellow Republicans in Congress to practice what you preach, and to give up your government-sponsored health care.

For two years, you opposed any effort at reasonable reform, and derided attempts to help tens of millions of uninsured Americans as 'socialist.' And yet, you seem to have no problem at all accepting government-sponsored health care for yourselves.

Practice what you preach, and stop being hypocrites. You want to repeal health care reform? Fine -- start by 'repealing' your own!"

I am absolutely dumbfounded at the total stupidity, ignorance, lack of mental capacity..whatever you call it..of those that support these lying grifters and thieves.

4. Correct, it gives mandatory high priced insurance to those that can't afford it
A product that is being designed so that it will be too expensive for those that need health care the most to use.

It will take money people can't fit in their budget for the premiums (or the poor tax kicks in), then when the victims are trying to figure out what
bill can be safely ignored to pay this premium, they will be expected to come up with deductibles and co-pays that these same people will not have the money for.

Mission accomplished, at this point they will pay a high premium and simply will not have the money to use the insurance.
Not only that but the Insurance companies will still be allowed to deny a service or procedure any time they feel like it as was the case with my then insured wife that had to die because of just such shenanigans.

The bill was for one thing and one thing only, to force people to buy a product they can not use at a time when more and more customers would have to end coverage due to ever increasing lack of funds.

I live across the bridge from Canada and my friends there think were are a cruel and insane country for this lack of care and caring.

And now, our party gets to be the one that will be hated for it once the forced policies and fines begin.

6. during the HCR mess one Dem and a bunch of GOP
tried to force congress to take the "plan" that they are forcing on the rest of us ...
of course it didn't pass ...
I can not for the life of me remember that
ladies name ... she doesn't take the congressional health care ... but buys her own ...

there are several congress critters that have their own ... McCain is one ... he uses his
military medical insurance ... not sure of others ...

5. I'm not a huge fan of HCR either, but I agree that the senators need to buy their own insurance.
See what it's like to go without health insurance for a while, if they don't want to buy it privately.
